FIRSTbenefit.jp Rules of Use

(Effective September 1, 2009)

Below are the Rules of Use as outlined for Piku Media Co., Ltd.'s (FIRSTbenefit.jp) online member benefits program. Some Rules of Use will also apply to other services provided by Piku Media Co., Ltd. including but not limited to the FIRSTbenefit Magazine.

Benefit Redemption - Show the FIRSTbenefit Magazine

If the listing has this icon on the right side of the listing under "How to redeem this benefit", simply present your FIRSTbenefit Magazine listing upon ordering or making your purchase to receive your benefit.

If you are required to present your FIRSTbenefit Magazine and KUDOS Member ID to receive your benefit, your service provider will record the corresponding KUDOS Member ID from the front of your FIRSTbenefit Magazine. Benefits are valid for one use, unless otherwise noted.

Benefit Redemption - Show your KUDOS Membership Card

If the listing has this icon on the right side of the listing under "How to redeem this benefit", simply present your KUDOS Membership card upon ordering or making your purchase to receive your benefit.

If you are required to present your KUDOS Membership card and KUDOS Member ID to receive your benefit, your service provider will record the corresponding KUDOS Member ID from the front of your KUDOS Membership card. Benefits are valid for one use, unless otherwise noted. Your card is located in the front of your FIRSTbenefit Magazine and may be transferred to another individual (Please see full details below). There is a replacement charge for lost cards.

If the listing has this icon on the right side of the listing under "How to redeem this benefit", simply print your desired listing from FIRSTbenefit.jp and present it upon ordering or making your purchase to receive your benefit.

If you are required to present your listing print out and KUDOS Member ID to receive your benefit, your service provider will record the corresponding KUDOS Member ID from the listing print out. Benefits are valid for one use, unless otherwise noted.

Benefit Redemption - Other

If the listing has this icon on the right side of the listing under "How to redeem this benefit", you may be required to quote your KUDOS Member ID by phone or email. In some cases for online services you may have to enter a special KUDOS code. Please follow the directions on the listing.

Validity

Unless otherwise stated the validity of a particular listing is within the lifetime of the current issue of the FIRSTbenefit Magazine that is in circulation to KUDOS members.

• Fall Validity - September 1 - November 30
• Winter Validity - December 1 - February 28
• Spring Validity - March 1 - May 31
• Summer Validity - June 1 - August 31

Tipping and Service Charges

In most cases, to qualify for a free offer or complimentary item, you must purchase goods or services from the merchant making the offer. Such offers may not be used in conjunction with any other discount or awards program/offer.

Free Offers

In most cases, to qualify for a free offer or complimentary item, you must purchase goods or services from the benefit provider making the offer. Such offers may not be used in conjunction with any other discount or awards program/offer.

Holidays

Some benefit providers may not provide benefits on certain holidays, peak periods or black-out dates. If in doubt, please check with the individual benefit provider.

Other Items to Note

Some sections may contain free offers allowing you to receive a complimentary item with no purchase necessary. The free offer may not be used in conjunction with any other offer, and only one free offer may be used per party unless otherwise stated by the benefit provider.

Additional Conditions

Read the benefit listings carefully for stated conditions, restrictions, and exclusions. All benefits are valid anytime except on defined holidays or unless the benefit states otherwise. Certain benefits are restricted to one offer per party, per visit. These additional conditions supersede other Rules of Use.

Transferability

In the event that an individual KUDOS member receives multiple (2 or more) copies of FIRSTbenefit Magazine, the Kudos member may transfer the multiple copy(ies) to another individual that resides or works at the same address. Please note that a KUDOS account can have only 1 (one) registered member and KUDOS members registered through Membership Partners (such as ACCJ, ANZCCJ, etc.) or Corporate Members may not change the mailing address for the FIRSTbenefit Magazine without express permission of the Membership Partner or Corporate Member Admin. Individuals members may change their address or transfer their multiple copy(ies) at their own discretion.

General Provisions

The barter, trade, sale, purchase, or transfer for compensation of the FIRSTbenefit Magazine, any of its offers, or printed "web" benefits by any person or entity, including but not limited to travel services, travel providers, and printers, publishers, and distributors of this FIRSTbenefit Magazine or any of its benefits is strictly prohibited, unless expressly authorized by Piku Media Co., Ltd. This FIRSTbenefit Magazine and its benefits are intended for the personal use of the individual purchaser/recipient of this FIRSTbenefit Magazine and are not valid with other discount offers or in other cities/countries unless otherwise specified. Additionally, the use of this FIRSTbenefit Magazine or any of its benefits for advertising purposes, in any form or fashion, is strictly prohibited. Any use of a benefit in violation of these Rules will render the benefit VOID, and ENGLISH OK CO., LTD. will pursue all legal remedies available to it by law. Benefits may not be reproduced and are void where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law. If a KUDOS member is suspected or caught performing any of the prohibited acts outlined in Terms of Use of Privacy Policy, ENGLISH OK CO., LTD. has the right to terminate the members access to the FIRSTbenefit Magazine and FIRSTbenefit.jp.

ENGLISH OK CO., LTD., will not be responsible if any establishment breaches its contract or refuses to accept cards/benefits/coupons; however, we will attempt to arrange compliance.

ENGLISH OK CO., LTD.. disclaims all alleged liability for bodily injury or property damage resulting from any accident, event or occurrence on, or resulting from the use of, the premises of the participating businesses. ENGLISH OK CO., LTD., disclaims all warranties, express, implied or otherwise imposed by law, regarding the condition of those premises or the safety of same. ENGLISH OK CO., LTD., disclaims all alleged vicarious liability for bodily injury or property damage resulting from the acts or omissions of the participating businesses.

Rules may vary by issue. Please refer to the most recent Rules of Use for the KUDOS Magazine you have purchases/received. If any changes have been made to the Rules of Use, we will revise the "last updated" date at the top of this Rules of Use page.
